Funny I was thinking about hedging, but it's only +250 for Rafa.

Imagine playing 2 really physical sets and needing to win 3 in a row vs. a guy with almost no chance of wearing out.

Rafa takes the 3rd. Odds are dead even now. This might go 5 hours.

Interesting turn of events the last five minutes. Thiem up a break now in the fourth

Feel like he'll need to break again. Hope I'm wrong.

Fowler: "Thiem breaks himself really"

That was a Tennys-level choke job trying to serve out the match.

The intimidation factor between this younger crop and the top 3 is fascinating to me.
They grew up watching these guys and for most you can see them getting tense in big moments.

Thiem back up a mini

That was an all-timer backhand winner.

Oh my. Thiem was serving for it when I turned my phone on to check the score. He has some guts to overcome that. Looks like an absolute war from the scoreline.

Rafa should just skip this tournament because he's never winning it again.

Thiem clipped the net like 4 times on winning points in the 4th set alone.

At this stage of his career along with the brutal conditions they can have, it’s probably not a bad idea, but as long as he’s healthy he’s just too much of a competitor to not play.

By that rationale, Fed should skip every major

And so should roughly 120 of the 128 would-be main draw participants

I’m of course always a bit bummed whenever TGGRN loses, but this one wasn’t exactly shocking
