Just took some Goffin live at +525. That’s an auto bet without even watching a point.

How do you normally do?

My answer is about the same as what MV said. I win a little, but I follow guys on Twitter who spend all day watching all levels of tennis, and I’m very selective. I might only bet once or twice a week sometimes.

What do you look for in tennis betting?

I could write a dissertation on this subject. Maybe I’ll start a free blog this weekend and write it all out. I doubt my thoughts would make anyone a winner, but it could help to look for certain things you might never think about.

whether the player is French

This is actually not a joke

Not even a little.

Another reason why I'll never be able to ditch the day job is that i do much better when I "let the free money come to me". As opposed to "forcing the free money".

Murray withdraws from Washington and Toronto, wonder if he reinjured the hip

Oh shite. Sure would seem like the most reasonable conclusion. Bummer.

Damn, that blows.

On the bright side, Sandgren is 1 withdrawal from the Toronto main draw.

Alex finishes off Kei after a rain delay and some scratchy play from both guys to finish it. Alex looking good in teal and pink (no homo). Alex and tsetse should be entertaining.

My bro tried to get me to go to Laver Cup and I decided I would rather see number 102 play number 124 at the US Open than Rafa, Fed, Djoker, Nick and Co. in an exhibition. Is that wrong?

That makes you a hardcore tennis fan

Seems ok to me... especially if you’ve seen all those guys before.

Well said. I have pretty much seen everybody in person that I wanted to, except Serena (and I was going to see her at IW then she punked out for injury, but played Miami the next week). That's part of why I hate her.

Rafa was the one guy that it just never worked out for me for a long time, but I finally saw him at IW when Milos beat him, then against Nick at Cincy last year.

u guys see the toronto draw yet

Djokovic gets Chung first, looking to get revenge for the AO upset in January

then he likely gets Thiem and Zverev back to back

that's a tough bottom half

Toronto draw: LINK

Are they gonna let Alex Demon in? I assume he would have played qualies except that he's still in the Citi draw.

Why isn't Sandgren in qualies draw?

De Minaur gets a spot if he wants it.

Not sure why Tennys is on the alternates list, but not in the qualies draw. I always assumed you signed up for both at the same time.

Kyrgios vs. Stan 1st round

I saw him play pospy. Though he lacks any conspicuous weapons, he places the ball nicely and plays really hard.

With that said, why isn't he playing qualifying?

Somewhat interesting that R. Harrison is #1 in qualifying, and this brother made it in as the last spot in qualifying.

I watched two or three games in the first set of goffy v teetsy while I was eating some food yesterday, but I saw enough. Teetsy will win one or majors.

Bayou is currently sprinting to the kitchen to grab a fork for eye-gouging purposes, but i’m a firm believer in “snapshot theory” for lack of a better term. So feel free to quote me on this. We can revisit in a decade.
