No, I'm not. We are having a separate argument apparently.

Let any of the three (58,03,07) LSU teams match up against Miami. I'd take Miami hands down
That's a different argument. No one is arguing that a particular LSU team is better than 2001 Miami. We are talking all time programs. Miami's recent history is clearly better, but LSU has a better history pre 1980, so its debatable what overall program is better because Miami is a Johnny come lately.
cfbdatawarehouse ranks all time program, they have a decent systems, agree, disagree, its not unfair. They have LSU #9, Miami #15

Just to put it out there, I do realize my own hypocrisy in calling out Corben while having a photo of the guys from Clipse, who essentially do the same thing.

Agreed. Miami is the team of the last quarter-century, no doubt. But before that, they did absolutely nothing.
I'm willing to bet that LSU has more wins, conference titles and prestigious bowl appearances and victories than Miami.

he's a capitalist. that CC shite sold like hotcakes and was a sensation, and im sure this U documentary gave plenty of bandwagoners down here hardons. funny thing is when Miami was really good everybody down here was a fan but you dont see jack shite about that team now.

Not too mention Miami was an independent until the 1990s.

Are you in Miami or Tampa? When I was in Miami I didn't see much U stuff either, but I don't think Eastern Europeans and Cubans were ever into college football.
I am sure they are big in Liberty City, especially with Jacory Harris as the biggest name on the team, but obviously I'm not exactly looking to go there. So who do the bandwagon fans in South Florida like these days? The Gators?
When I was little, everyone in South Louisiana loved Florida State for football and UNC for basketball.

celebrating after a TD is fine but u dont think its annoying when they celebrate after making a standard tackle?
I might agree with this if there was any consistency on what gets flagged.
A player can get a sack pop up and beat his chest, no flag.
Another plays catches a TD and chest bumps with a teammate, flagged.
WTF?

the U is irrelevant now. has beens. since joining the ACC zero conference championships. this show was good though for those living in the past to pump their chests about those great teams they had.

True. My bad. Scratch the conference championships from consideration.
I'd still take LSU's overall history.

Im in Boca Raton 40 minutes north of Miami. Tons of Gator fans here. U fans only come out when they are winning (meaning nearly undefeated)Since Miami now has no shot at winning anything relevant other than some shite bowl their fans are in hibernation. Most of the bandwagon fans here only pump the Miami stuff cuz of the swag aura. I dont think they really care about the results on the field.

I figured their recruiting would have really taken off by now, but it hasn't quite happened.

they should be good. they have plenty of talent on offense. I honestly dont see why they couldnt win the ACC this year. theyre entertaining to watch. I respect their talent but I dont like their team.

If anything, it means that LSU had an overall more difficult schedule. LSU had to play prestigious programs almost yearly - Bama, UT. And other programs that won national titles - UF, Ole Miss in the early '60s, UGA.
Miami played FSU when they were good (for 25 yrs) and Florida occasionally.
