More teams should act like Miami, as long as they can back it up. Laron Landry tries to have swagger, but gets burnt 15 times per game.

They have been to four BCS bowls and won three of them, and should have beaten tOSU in 2002.
Could of, Would of, Should of

LSU 4-0 in BCS Bowls and 2-0 in BCS NC Games.

Miami went into that game vs OSU with too much swag and got their inflated heads deflated by a fricking much less talented big ten team

LSU backed it's way into a BCS title game in 08. Also, LSU isn't even considered the best team of the decade.

Miami on the other hand went undefeated in 01 and is in the top 5 of best teams of all time. LSU has never been on Miami's level.

Problems off the field and lack of discipline within the program look much better 15 years after the fact. If Kiffin has any success at Tennessee, there will be a new generation of college football fans praising the Tennessee swagger of Janzen Jackson and the kids from Byrnes who fall in love with mediocre "ambassadors".

But that is true, OSU could barely beat Purdue and other low-scoring teams. I thought that Miami would skulldrag that team. Credit goes to OSU for playing off the underdog mentality.

Yeah, I'm talking about on the field. I don't have any problem with Lane Kiffen either, I think he's putting them in the right direction.

We aren't talking about the last few years. We're talking about the programs entire history. LSU just hasn't done the things that Miami has in the past 3 decades.

so.

That in and of itself does not make one program better than another.

id say miamis luck ran out around 2002, but if you want to call mid 80's through 2002 three decades, thats cool.
