No one in here is arguing Ryan is better than Brees We are simply showing how foolish your arguments are You are using the literal arguments retards have used agaisnt Brees for years
The last page of comments would beg to differ. Sure, retards may have used that against Brees. That doesn’t mean it’s not correct for Matt Ryan

But the combination of stats, wins, rings can give you a pretty good idea. And Matt Ryan has consistently done less with more

Luck has been great when healthy. The Colts do well with him available
Goff is proving his value right now. He’ll be a top QB in the future
Rivers has been a top QB for years. More consistent than Ryan

Falcons defense under Ryan:
Low: 5
High: 27
Top 10 Defenses: 3
Bottom 10 Defenses: 4
Average: 16.45
Saints defense under Brees:
Low: 4
High: 32
Top 10 Defenses: 3
Bottom 10 Defenses: 6
Average: 19.54
So Brees and Ryan have both had some really bad defenses and some really good defenses.
If you get rid of 2012 (the year Bounty-gate sanctions were in effect) it removes a 31st ranked defense from the Saints and brings their average down a full point to 18.58.

He has to be trolling at this point. Since 2010, Rivers has 1 10 win season, while Matt Ryan has 5. This is the first year the Chargers have made the playoffs since 2013 - when they made the playoffs at 9-7.

Goff didn't even know what a forward pass was before McVay.

Luck - talent and production in limited time. Stats and wins are good
Goff - talent and production in very limited time. Ignoring the rookie season with Fisher, going to have a great career
Rivers - doing more with less talent

Nah man, I said earlier. A young QB that starts playing at an elite level has to be proven to not be elite. But an established QB needs the skins on the wall to prove he’s elite. Matt Ryan is neither
Posted on 1/3/19 at 2:53 pm to RedRifle
This is what happens when every QB gets a monster contract just "because" rather than based on results.

My goodness. LSUPride just laid an absolute smack down on upperdecker. That was a logic based dismantling.

NFL MVP, NFC Champ - Phillip Rivers is neither. Jared Goff is neither. Andrew Luck is neither.

2/3 I wouldn’t classify as an established QB, compared to QBs with lengthy careers like Rivers Brees Ryan. Goff and Luck fall in the young talent and performing well category

Ah, Goff and Luck are young so the same criteria don't apply.
And Brees had a couple of slightly worse defenses than Ryan has had, so your criteria don't apply.
And Phillip Rivers has never had the accolades that Matt Ryan has, but he's been more "consistent", so those criteria don't apply.
You are literally just making shite up to try and validate your claim when facts are staring you right in the face.

Time to bow out dude. Even Saints fans are telling you how stupid your reasoning is.

Haven’t made anything up. It’s all there. Y’all are just picking around
Can’t grade a 3 yr QB the same as a 12 yr QB. That’s part of what I’ve talked about
Consistency is important. A flash in a pan QB is not elite. Remember when people thought Flacco was elite? He had 1 season. Really 1 set of playoffs
QBs can’t win by themselves. If you want to compare their performances, you have to look at their defenses. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will be defined by the difference in their rings, but Tom had way better defenses on average
Then obviously the QBs have to put up stats too. Eli has 2 rings, but lacks the stats to back them up
