Turned a joke of a Steelers defense back into the Steel Curtain

Legit NFL trade of all time

Minkah is going to be a massive asset to them for the next 3 to 4 years.

He’s as solid as it gets and thank god he didn’t leave for FSU.

Missed the playoffs and don't have a potential 5-10th pick.

Idk about that.
Looks like a pretty even trade.

The Steelers got one of the best safeties in the league that completely changed the way teams attack them through the air, and control his salary for 3 more years. And the trade absolutely flipped their defense, which has been lights out ever since.

With a healthy Ben it’s back to an offense that can score every so often and a defense that will strangle you.

by the way, TJ Watt is about to win DPOY

But they didn't trade the 18th pick.
They traded the 5-10th pick.

Da frick?

They made the trade thinking they could still compete for a playoff spot, which they did. And they did it while acquiring one of the best safeties in the NFL on his rookie contract. Add to the fact the Steelers can’t draft secondary players to save their lives.

Whoever the Dolphins pick will be out of the league 5 years.

I need cast to say that the Steelers fricked up by acquiring a guy who took them from the 5th to 18 pick

I removed 2-3 wins based on the impact he ha. Which is where it lands them.

I didn't say they fricked up.
He obviously made an impact.
But they saying they traded the 18th pick is obviously disengenious if you think he made an impact.

No he’s not.

Top 5? Yes.

So you’re saying he alone is worth 2-3 wins?

And on the other hand you’re arguing that he wasn’t worth the 5th to 18th pick?

Am I talking crazy pills?

Every fricking coach on earth would take a player 1 to fricking 10,000 if they knew they’d immediately make a 2-3 win difference.

What in the absolute frick are you arguing here?

That he makes top 5? Depends on the odds.

So this young guy on defense made 2-3 games worth of difference and you’re worried about the Steelers using their 18th pick on him?

And to argue your point you’re saying they might suck SO hard without him that they’d pick in the top 10?

Is your argument that THAT pick would be worth more than 2-3 wins?

The frick is your logic here?

You are the one arguing. Not me.

OP said it was an all time trade, I said it was a fair trade. Now you're just going nuts over things I never said.

Nah, he’s gonna win it.

Top 3 is about as much of a lock as you can possibly be.

How many rookie deals have been moved that immediately improve a team by 2-3 wins?

Especially on defense where the Steelers pride themselves on?

I’m not arguing with you. You made a stupid post.
