No, They didn't. how can you start a thread bitching about how the rules are enforced when you don't even know the rules? I have a problem with him getting a penalty at all. They said he wasn't DQ'd because the committee had already made a ruling and it wasn't fair to punish him when he signed his card after it was deemed correct by officials, yet after the fact they punished him with a 2 stroke penalty. If anyone should be angry, it's tiger. Giving him a penalty based on his statement in an interview? That's your lack of integrity right there.
Unless you are one of the people that thinks he can hit it within 3 feet of the pin on every shot.

how is it not? They made two incorrect rulings. They made the 2nd intentionally to fix the first. So, they intentionally made a wrong ruling. How is that not bad for golf?
Because they like Tiger and they like to label people who point out fairness and rules as blind "haters." Forget it. It's a losing battle. It's okay because they like Tiger. But then they'll turn right around and bitch about how Bama got a mulligan and "that's not fair." You're dealing with pathetic hypocrites.

but, rules are rules. That's what makes golf so great right? Or, rules are only rules when the rules' officials don't screw it up?
They weren't willing to do the right thing for Padraig or a 14 year old. But, they bent the rules for Tiger. The integrity of the game took a monster hit this week.
So it does matter what side of the tiger ruling you are on then? And that makes your whole shite thread a :csb

Can't punish a player the next day because you made the wrong call. It's simple for most. God I hope you didn't attend LSU

At first I thought you were being contradictory for the sake of being contradictory. Now I know you just don't understand how the rules work.

4. The entire Tiger debacle this week (regardless of whose side your own, it's clear the rules officials royally screwed this one up).
I hold the rules officials more responsible for this than anyone else.

PGA rules not in play nor USGA. This was solely on the Masters under their rules.

Well the Masters uses the USGA rules for the tournament.

That is not correct.
Every professional tournament is governed by USGA rules.
