Maybe he is a racist, but I don't think this statement qualifies. Afterall, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. A few years ago, the winner of the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant was a woman with light skin and European facial features and the judges were roundly criticized by Nigerians for picking the ugliest Miss Nigeria in history. The bottom line is that some folks have a much narrower tastes when it comes to beauty than others. One man's "exotic" is another man's ugly.
