You guys have been waiting for 20 years for the SEC to finally have a bad bowl season. Over the last 20 years the SEC has hands down dominated the premier bowl games. Finally you get a year where LSU and Florida are both firing coaches, and with the current transfer and opt out culture those teams will be awful in their games. Several 6-6 teams have already played and got beat. Guess what, we knew those teams weren’t very good. The SEC wasn’t as strong as usual this year. When two of the big guns are firing their coaches, it leaves a void. Sorry Kentucky, no one expects you to carry the SEC flag for us. It’s simply a down year.
It’s no gotcha. It doesn’t change the previous 20 years of dominance.

This is such a retarded talking point. Take their NC’s away and the SEC still has double the amount of NC’s as the next conference since 2000. Four schools in the SEC other than Bama have won a more recent title than the shitty arse PAC 12 you’re repping. 5 schools in the country have won multiple titles since 2000 and 3 are in the SEC. Only 2 schools have won at least 3 titles since then and both are SEC.

SEC has definitely been the best conference for years but this year they are a bit down when LSU, Auburn and Florida are .500 teams and have gone through coaching changes.
But I get it, people wanna take jabs at the SEC whenever they can. SEC fans will sometimes troll people on it so I expect it back.
Its been a down year for CFB in general across the board, not just the SEC

If you remove Bama, it's likely OSU wins it last year. Clemson in 15, Texas in 09. It would change things a lot. It's ok to admit that, your life will go on, I promise you.

Florida would have won in 2009.
LSU would have won in 2011 and likely in 2012. UGA could have won it in 2012 as well.
Ohio State and Clemson have been strong programs the last 7-8 years. The rest of their conferences, not so much.
