Here is a link to the draw: LINK
This tournament has major implications for the French Open. Nadal is currently ranked #5 in the world, and the only way he can pass David Ferrer to get to #4 is if he wins this tournament.
He is on the same side of the draw as Djokovic, so they will likely meet in the semifinals. And then whoever wins that match will roll easily in the final. And I definitely don't see Novak losing to anybody before the semi. Wawrinka could conceivably beat him in the third round, but I don't see it happening. Berdych could conceivably beat him in the quarters, but I don't see that happening either.
For Rafa, he won't have any trouble until the semis. He'll likely play the always-dangerous Ernie Gulbis in the third round, but if he beat Gulbis several weeks ago on a hard court, I don't see Gulbis taking him on clay. And then he'll play Ferrer in the quarters. Adn everybody knows that David Ferrer doesn't beat Rafael Nadal in the game of tennis. It just doesn't happen.
If Rafa fails to win this tournament and goes into the FO as the #5, it could make for a potentially difficult draw. Like really really difficult. And, believe me, none of the top four want Rafa as the fifth seed. Djokovic doesn't want to see Rafa in the quarters.

Lol Djokovic lost again. Nadal about to make it three in a row , though he's not played that well this week. Clearly the fav now for RG. Nole needs to get his shite together and hope he doesn't get Nadal on his side of the draw.
He probably wants Nadal to win this now otherwise there's a chance he could face him in the 1/4 finals at RG

Rafa will win this tourney for sure, but with Murray injured it's a moot issue. He'll be a top four seed regardless.
But, yes, you're definitely correct. Djokovic doesn't wanna see Rafa till the finals.
Weird thing is, Rafa is going to win this tournament, and he's really not even playing that well.

Didn't know Murray is out, wow wonder if he'll be ready for Wimbledon.

This is embarrassing. Reminds me of one of their French Open finals (2008 maybe?)
Onto the EPL I guess.
