Not only are the Cavs 0-5, their tickets are being sold for as little as $2 hours before tip-off.

quote:

The Cleveland Cavaliers are bad without LeBron James -- like, 0-wins bad -- but that's not such a terrible thing if you're a fan looking to score a REALLY cheap ticket last minute.

The Cavs squared off with the Brooklyn Nets in Cleveland Wednesday. Neither franchise has high hopes for the season, but it's still early, and the contest was only Cleveland's second at home.

However, in looking at Flash Seats -- the ticket sale and resale service launched by Cavs' owner Dan Gilbert -- you'd think the team was 0-60.

Nosebleed seats were reselling for as little as $2 an hour and a half before tip-off.

If you want to know how good LeBron is, a good starting point is how both times he left the Cavs, they morphed into the worst team in the league.

I like Sexton, but beyond him and Love, it's going to be a really long year for the Cavs.

I haven't even glanced at their roster

Love is still there, right?

Love, Million Dollar man Tristan Thompson, George Hill, JR Smith, and Osman?

They should still be competitive. WTF?

Oh, yes Tyrone Lue.

of course they are.
You aint winning many games with your best player being a 30 year old Kevin Love.

You also aint going to many games when your best player is a 30 year old Kevin Love.

I'm loving every second of it.

I'll use this season and last to explain to old grumpy people why Lebron was better at basketball than anyone else who every played.

This is basically the same team. What he did in the playoffs was incredible. Including the 51/8/8 loss in game 1 of the finals.

To be fair the Pels are undefeated right now and you can get nosebleeds for $6 against the Nets. I'm not saying the Cavs aren't trash but NBA tickets are cheap when it's not a big game.

Cavs are struggling with new roles and identity. Along with Lue never constructing an offense because you know who isn’t a system type player.

They should probably blow it up, but I’d like to see the team with Love, Sexton, Cedi, Hood, JR and co...make an 8 seed run. It would be good for their fans to show that Cleveland can survive without LBJ.

For one that was a terrible matchup. And the same thing happens with other NBA teams also. Of course there's gonna be a drop off in value of tickets after LeBron left but this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone.

It surely didn't help that LeBron pushed to get Tristan and JR the contracts they have. That Tristan contract is BRUTAL.

It also doesn't help that their owner is a dingbat who I doubt many superstars would want to play for.

And it's Cleveland.

Ehh. Love as your best player screams "you're winning 25 games."

Thompson gets offensive boards and that's all. Hill and JR are way past their prime. The Cavs are playing out a string until they can purge some of that bad money.

Lue's coaching style of not coaching goes better when LeBron is there to run things. Being a players coach is easier when you have players.

It's almost like they had a defacto GM who handed out shite contracts and picked an awful coach while trading for every player he didn't want to play with for his future team in LA.

Yep once he found out Houston didn’t want him he started to play out his puppet master role to get the lakers some cap space and get the garbage can players off the team and onto his team. he’s a smart guy I will give him that.

After 2010, we know he's not above a little healthy collusion.

Bama's weak schedule will not serve them well in two weeks. And the blatant corruption from the SEC offices will not go without karmic repayment. You bitches are on the clock.

That would be the case for just about any team that loses their star player.

Not necessarily.

OKC was fine without Durant. The Jazz were fine without Hayward. They clearly took a hit and were worse, but not a devastating fall to bottom feeders like LeBron leaving the Cavs.
