I'm appreciative of the leader or especially, winner being left off the title for a while. I'm 6 hours behind EST so I wake up and watch DVR and don't click inside the thread but don't want to see it on the MSB main board if I click on that.

Thanks Chicken. I just don't want any future event/stickies being denied because I was honestly doing what I thought was best given the circumstances. I was active throughout the thread and updated other than the title. The title being the biggest thing since people actively complained (and still do) that it showed the progression of the tournament while they could not watch it until later due to work.

This ain't the soccer board. Intelligent people know that if they don't want to learn results of an athletic event then don't check social media.

Get over it, there's no spoilers in sports. If you don't want to know who won, certainly don't come on here.

I look at it the same way if you watch a show like GOT or something on delay. Just don't get on any form of social media if you're worried about someone ruining it for you. If you can't watch the Open, don't check the MSB. It shouldn't be that tough.
Forevergator, thanks for running the thread man and I appreciate you trying to make sure you had the best interest of those people so you didn't ruin it for anyone. That's incredibly commendable.

It's not that hard. I DVR'd it so I could watch after work. I didn't click on Facebook, Twitter, or TD at all yesterday. I sent a text to those I knew would talk to me about it and asked for no spoilers. I got to enjoy it on my time. If someone lacks the ability to not click on social media for 12 hours, maybe they have a bigger issue.

I DVR'd the final round and watched it last night when I got home from work.
What helped was... not visiting Tigerdroppings throughout the day to avoid it being spoiled for me.
