A quartet of teams emerged earlier today as the potential suitors for cornerback Nnamdi Asomuga.

Here’s a fifth one: The Saints.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Saints are among the teams interested in Asomugha. The others are, we’re told, are the 49ers, Cardinals, Texans, and Broncos.

I wonder who John Elway and Denver want more... Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie or Nnamdi Asomugha?

What do you want to see the Jets do? I get the feeling they aren't pulling out moves you prefer, but there are still some good players left on board. Who would you like to see them sign, how's the cap room, and what is the talk from the draft?

If you're still counting, 11 starting safeties have now been cut this offseason. Game is moving away from tacklers toward coverage.

Breer saying now that The Pats didnt try that hard late to get Welker because they had a very stern Plan B in Amendola for less money but for more years

New England is probably one of Amendola's two reported visits, though that's yet to be confirmed. Amendola is seeking over $6 million per season, but he can probably throw that out the window now that Wes Welker has signed for just two years and $12 million in Denver. Per Profootballtalk, Amendola's offers on the open market have been less than what the Rams offered him before free agency. The Pats and Rams are probably his two most likely destinations,

Good question, I'm not entirely sure, but he's visiting Denver soon. Haven't heard much of anything else regarding him.

Hes not getting more than Welker.

As i said with Welker when uou said he get 9-11 million a year, its not what they are seeking its what the market bares.

Any team interested in Amendola will see that Welker contract and lower the amount they are willing to pay for Amendola

ETA did you even read after the part that you bolded?
