McIlroy lips out on his birdie try on 13. not a good eagle putt left himself 7 feet.

Brent Snedeker is the biggest leaderboard surprise today. In the clubhouse at -3.

Speaking of missed opportunities, Fowler misses a gimmie birdie. (+2)

Thats almost 7 under after 14.

Kid is STROKING the ball. I doubt he keeps it up, but damn that kid is talented. I hope he has the mental game to have a long career because it could be a grand one.

I remember why Rickie toned it down today. On Monday after he got through hitting he was doing an interview with his hat backwards like he normally does after playing. An Augusta official said, "Here at Augusta we wear our hats forward."

Rickie said, "It's just kind of my thing."

The official replied, "Here at Augusta we wear our hats forward."

Not the one I'm talking about.

People in the gallery over the backside of the hill on 15 have no idea when a ball is coming at them. Fowler just hit one in the trees and the ball was rolling about 10 feet behind a few spectators and they had no idea the ball was behind them.
