Barnes now tied for the lead after birdie on 6. IF he can avoid trouble on 7 this could be a tremendous round. I agree that Yang and Barnes may have a nice advantage getting out early today and if they can throw up a number.

What will the number be at the end of the day guys? 10? 11?

i wouldn't bet higher than 10, but stranger things have happened. Now, if Tiger or Phil were sitting at -7 after yesterday, that'd be a different story. I just don't see anybody -3 or higher going really low today.

I think he'd probably have a hard time reaching a few par 5's in three

You're kidding, right?

Yang and Barnes already off to great starts and if both get through the front nine unscathed it could be 66-67 for those two with two par fives on the back.

I would take Yang over Barnes in that scenerio. Yang would stay steady and I think Barnes would cause himself problems with trying to be too aggresive.

No, there's a 575 par 5 and a 505 par 4. And, he's 71 years old. If he hits a bad drive or second shot, he could have a very difficult time.

Yang has more bogeys Peej. I think Barnes is the better short game player.

I'm tired of this back issue with Couples. Is he alergic to pain killers? They praise him because of the pain, yet they blame it on the back when he fails.

Hey I Like both of those guys and would be happy for either to win. I did pick Barnes to win so it would be cool from that perspective, but honestly I would be happy for either guy. I also like Choi and McIlroy, Hell I would love to see Phil win again if he does it with dramatic flare again.

If, if, if,

He could reach any of Augustas par 5s in three shots.

He is 51. Can you point out the next highest golfer on the leader board that is over 50?

Like, needlessly hitting it off the straw and going for the green instead of laying up and getting it to 3 ft only to miss the virtual tap in for eagle?
