Meh. I understand the argument because of the 13th and 15th holes, but the percentages were against him strictly because of his play of late...I even told a friend of mine 13 under was going to win it and Tiger won't get there when he was on 10.

His front 9 was his run...the delusion is he could do that on the back 9 too...he ain't there yet.

actually the 12th is what screwed him up.

This is true, however its easy for you to say this now after the fact. Thats what makes you look so bad with this debate.

Like I said its EASY to say that now.

+1, im sure this DP douche would have said we are delusional if we thought tiger would ever tie for the lead yesterday, much less on the front nine

If he was even par for the day and I few back I could see your point. But he was putting on a show on the front nine and there was no reason to think he couldn't do it on the back.

Its certainly not delusion to have thought Tiger could win AFTER seeing what he did on the front 9. He had every chance to win yesterday.

Its much tougher to battle 6 different guys most all of them playing behind you than it is just besting one guy.

He wasn't battling those guys. He was battling himself. They didn't stop him from making those putts.

You know as well as I that it's damn near impossible to win the Masters shooting even par on the back 9 Sunday afternoon.

Peej, you know what I mean. He didn't just have one guy to pass on the leaderboard, but even if he'd made those putts he still loses to Schwartzels 14 under. If it was just him and McIlroy at the top Tiger wins running away yesterday. Instead there are 6-7 guys all in the same spot or slightly above him. Not easy to win even if you shoot lights out. See Scott and Day. Hell, Ogilvy shot 31 on the back!

You can't rewrite history, but if Tiger puts up a 32 on the back 9, who's to say Charl birdies the last 4 holes. Personally I don't think he does, but we'll obviously never know.

and that would make it tied for the lowest round at the Masters (63 twice) so that was far more unlikely than Charl birding the last 4.

I see some of you Tiger lovers are still butthurt your hero wasn't going to make an historic comeback.

I pretty much stated in other threads he was done before the final round started. He wasn't going to win and his front nine run didn't sway me at all. But it did get some of y'all hot and bothered.

It wasn't the margin he had to overcome(Rory predictably blew up), but the number of people. Too many players behind him and they would have all had to fold.

Tiger's game is too inconsistent, yet y'all want him to make history against enormous odds when he hasn't won shite in a long time...that's delusional.

Answer me this. Did he have the LEAD yesterday??? YES OR NO????

You are trying to hard dude. BEFORE the ROUND I was LIKE YOU. I like how you PICK what you want out of respnoses just to help YOUR DELUSIONAL mind. Why will you NOT say Tiger DIDn'T have a shot after the front nine??? CAUSE YOU don't KNOW shite ABOUT THE GAME!!!!! BTW I am NOT a TIGER fan and have said MANY of times on here that he will never win another Major. Go figure it out for yourself.

The fact that Tiger hit his driver and irons as well as he has anytime in the last 3 years this week is enough to think he could make a run on the back 9. Add on the fact that he tore up the back on friday and it was far from delusional to think that Tiger posting a 63 or 64 was possible heading into 10. Like I said earlier, your just trying to reiterate the hate you have for Tiger, now that it's over and you can say he doesn't have it, he's not there yet, dadadada. If you would have came into the Masters thread with Tiger walking to the back nine I would give you credit, but now your just trying to act like a know it all who knew the entire time Tiger would never win.
