Why is everybody all of the sudden the "Lebron James" of their sport?

She's polarizing like Lebron but maybe even more so.

If you can't see that comparison then you really are trolling here.

Good grief. She is polarizing for other reasons different than Lebron.

Her cockiness? Yes, but at least she has won a lot. Being a total bitch on the court? No reason to compare to Lebron.

Respect to Serena for what? Winning in one of the worst era's of women's tennis? Doing it acting like a colossal bitch on top of it?

She deserves no respect. The women's game deserves no respect today either. They are all mental midgets.

Do you hate all black people, or just Serena?

Amazing how stupid you are. Serena is a total bitch and you want to ask such a stupid question.

More proof of your idiocy. You obviously don't know tennis even w/ your supposed 4.0 skills. Research some history.

Not trolling. The bitch deserves zero respect. And she is NOT in the conversation of best ever. Not close.

Yeah, she is. To deny that Serena Williams is in the conversation for best ever is to illustrate (a) abject stupidity, and/or (b) complete lack of tennis knowledge.

Or, how about this. Chris Evert thinks she is, and I'll take her informed opinion over the opinion your dumb arse.

Chris Evert Call Serena Williams Greatest Player Ever

What else?

Jon Wertheim of sports illustrated, who is most decidedly not a hack, and is in fact an excellent sportswriter, writes this article:

Serena Williams is game's greatest ever

Hmmm...what does these articles sorta sound like? Yes yes, I've got it now. A conversation.

dude, learn some history. call me when Serena gets over 100 singles titles like Martina, Everet, and Graff. She's at 41 right now.

Then she's still like 4 major titles away from being top 5, I think.

Right now she the best of her era. That's about as far as I'd go right now.

BTW, do you really think this answers the question? You just list the number of titles they won, and the one with the most is the greatest?

I understand what you're doing. You're comparing resumes. But there are two ways to determine greatness. You can compare resumes, or you can ask the question: who was better?

If my life depends on the outcome of a match, and I get to pick any female tennis player in history to play on my behalf, I'm going with either Steffi Graf in her prime or Serena Williams in her prime. And I'm probably going with Serena Williams in her prime.

she's an American, so I am happy she won, but her personal actions/behavior on the court as well as the cockiness/defiance in conferences after she loses makes me no fan of hers and actually turns me off the women's game----she made it to the final and i chose not to watch it; my choice. if her sister or almost anyone else had been in the women's final, i would have gotten up and watched it. Serena, no thank you.

Are all legends... You can add Serena to the list as well!!

If she played more, plus didn't have her sister to contend with, then that number could easily have doubled, including a lot more Grand Slams..

Anyway, congrats to the future Hall of Famer
