Well considering you said Nadal will win 21 majors then said hold on let's not get crazy.. I'd say you considered yourself wrong.

I think Murray will have a shot at the US Open, and will continue to be a threat to te top 3 in the coming years.

Murray may need a while to get over this loss. That was devastating for him. I actually felt bad for him and I am not a fan of his in the least.

I like Fed and have been attacked repeatedly on this site by Nadal fans (Hot Carl, bobbyray before we resolved our differences, etc.). I may have posted that I didn't think he'd be able to beat both Djokovic and Nadal back to back in the same slam at this age, which I still believe

I will acknowledge that I didn't think Fed would win another major.

I was wrong.

As a tennis novice, how is 30 years old that OLD for the game?

There are plenty of 30 year olds who can perform as well and better than guys in there mid-twenties in basketball, football etc.

Because professional tennis is an incredibly physical game.

Shortest athletic shelf lives:
1) NFL Running Back
2) Tennis player

He would have 7 grand slams instead of 1 if it wasn't for Fed.

And I'd be banging 7 different girls a month if there were 2 million fewer dudes in the DC area to compete with.

He has 4 non-French Open majors since 2005.. the year he won his first major. That's 8 years. But he's going to win 5 non-French open majors in 5 years?

But he had 2 in 2010.

Why couldn't he get 2 in 2012? And then sprinkle in 3 more over the next four years.

I'm saying it will happen.* But it isn't preposterous.

*I think Nadal will end up with 14 or 15. I just don't see him playing into his 30s.

easy to see after watching those dudes run around for 3-5 hours (and then when you look at some of the things they can do 3 hours into a match they are really incredible)

If you get a chance, watch this year's Aussie Open final. You can find it on youtube, and probably from time to time on ESPN classic if you have it.

It makes today's match look like a dancing with the stars routine.

Seriously, it was more grueling than can imagine. I think both guys put two years of mileage on their legs in that one match.

Sprint 20 feet then slide to a stop. Then repeat 20 times. Then get ready for the next point.

Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

Djokovic had two of those matches in a row. Murray in the semis, Nadal in the finals. Unbelievable how fit these guys are
