Good. No mail in voting or early voting now, right?
Why is early voting an issue if you’re voting in person?
Some of y’all. Glad I live in a state with a GOP SoS and a Dem Governor who worked together to come up with a voting plan that works for most everyone. Early voting, ID requirement, and Mail-in for absentee voters.

It's not an act, most democrats are lunatics.

No complaints here, I feel like presidential election days should be a paid holiday.
Only issue I would have is if NBA comes out and starts pushing one candidate over the other instead of keeping it neutral

why are you scared of people being given more opportunities to vote?
I don't really care about giving people a day off to vote, but I definitely have reservations to making voting easier. Everyone has a vote, but I get extremely frustrated that we have so many uninformed voters. Hell, I know a person who voted for Biden last election because "Trump pays hooker to piss on him". It makes logical sense that making voting easier just increases ignorant voting patterns.

that has nothing to do with ease of voting, educating voters is everyone's job

That goes both ways, especially with QAnon and Marjorie out there.

Cool, didn't imply it didn't, there are plenty of dumbasses on both sides of the aisle. Politicos for the most part are dumbass sociopaths.

Yeah, I don't have any love for those types either.

I’m curious how we plan on deciding whose smart enough to vote and who isn’t because most people are going to say whoever voted for something they didn’t vote for is an idiot. I’d also disagree with the notion that the people willing to go vote are automatically smarter than the ones that don’t go vote. Plenty of that is fueled by apathy more so than knowledge, while a lot of the bases from both sides are going to pick red or blue no matter who.
Making voting harder doesn’t help the problem your describing. If anything it further expands the issue by further disenfranchising people (directly or indirectly) and losing faith in their ability to influence the system or have any relation to the system outside of regular party politics, which simply leads to a high percentage of voters simply voting a side of the isle instead of thinking intelligently on who they think is the best choice (which highlights the issue with a 2 party system)
Call me an optimist, but If we could get more of those “dumb voters” at the ballots making actual choices based on actual candidates and not parties, than maybe the politicians could be a bit more beholden to their core base and look to intact actual change instead of lining their own pockets or going at the direction of whoever is lining those pockets. But I admit that’s maybe pie in the sky thinking, but making voting easier seems like a no brainer thing that shouldn’t be that controversial, but then again everything is controversial these days

Would be cool if they could have a civic engagement night to encourage black people to learn how to get a goddamn ID
except none of the complaints i've seen about the new voting laws really have anything to do with ID's

It’s cute how you’re being so intentionally obtuse, like you don’t know the real intent behind the whole ‘get out and vote’ shite coming from the NBA

so if most of the nba voted conservative, the league wouldn't have done this?

You’re wrong, like always.
Voter IDs are racist
ACLU- Black voters can’t figure out how to get IDs

Well there was that dude that posted that thread about how rodeos are awesome because they say a prayer before every event and the crowd is a bunch of conservatives.
