So only players on the 1992 Olympic dream team are capable of being compared to Lebron? No one else?

Did he break any NBA rules? Nope, just a free agent doing what is best for himself.

I'd bet if your favorite team signed the best player in the league you would be ecstatic.

You just made our point....Kobe didn't run like a scared little bitch!! He got a shite ton of hate and criticism thru those lean yrs, waited till they got him some help and then solidified his legacy forever....he did it on HIS team and for HIS city. Lebron will NEVER have that, and I would bet that will haunt him one day

The Heat represent taking the modern short-cut to glory.

It's called making good decisions and capitalism.

Why the frick are you hating on an organization for practicing the same thing your favorite team (Lakers) does.

And don't even begin to act like the Heat didn't have to work for their titles. It's not like the rest of the NBA just quit.

Your post is a microcosm of why I don't mind seeing the Heat win, and actually pull for them. I liked both teams in the finals, wanted the Spurs to win just because I liked seeing the old dogs get it done, but I can't be disappointed in the Heat winning just because of how unjustly hated they are.

You're really comparing the great Lakers organization to the fricking Cavs right now?

Almost worse is the fact you think this will bother Lebron

You've been at the same job your entire life? Worked your way from the bottom all the way to the top?

This.

If I've learned one thing in life, loyalty isn't always the best option.

yep, is that okay with you??

started when I was 20 and earned 30k a yr for the first several yrs...worked my arse off and took tests to get promoted and now I make over double that. Not rich, but I'm damn proud of my meager accomplishment.

Lebron and the Heat are everyhting that's wrong with this country

Awesome for you. And if a 100k job was offered to you when you were only making 30k you're telling me you wouldn't bolt?

But no really, the above question I just asked you. If you bolt for the 100k job are you "part of everything that's wrong with this country"?

Lebron saw a better opportunity to win titles, much like you'd see a better opportunity to make a living. Don't criticize someone for decisions you'd make yourself.

And if you'd stay with your 30k a year job, you're letting loyalty dictate your life decisions which is incredibly stupid/ignorant in that circumstance.

Who the hell cares how they went about constructing the team? Did they do something illegal? Did they do something immoral?

Just look at NBA history. It's damn near impossible to win a title without two HOFs. As long as it's within the rules, I don't care how teams acquire their players.

If it was your favorite team that Lebron and Bosh signed with, I bet you wouldn't complain. Hell, I wish the Pels had the ability to pull off something like that right now.

What they did is obviously harder than people think. The Lakers and Knicks have tried to combine superstars since and failed terribly.
