Jack Nicklaus holds the record for the most Masters victories, winning the tournament six times during his career. Nicklaus is also the oldest winner of the Masters: he was 46 years 82 days old when he won in 1986. Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, and Tiger Woods co-hold the record for most consecutive victories with two. Woods holds the distinction of being the youngest winner of the Masters, he was 21 years 104 days old when he won in 1997. Woods also set the record for the widest winning margin (12 strokes), and the lowest winning score, with 270, 18 below par (-18) in 1997. The latter was equaled by Jordan Spieth in 2015.

When is the last time a player rolled into Augusta National dominating professional golf the way DJ has been lately?

My body is ready. DJ was on fire this weekend, interested to see him carry that momentum into Masters week.

Eldrick Tont Woods rolled into The Masters in 2001 having won the 2000 US open, the 2000 British Open, the 2000 PGA Championship, the 2001 Bay Hill 3 weeks before the Masters, and the 2001 Players Championship 2 weeks before the Masters.

He preceded to don the green jacket that weekend as well

Between 1971 and 1980, The Golden Bear won an additional nine major championships, overtook Bobby Jones' record of 13 majors, and became the first player to complete double and triple career slams of golf's four professional major championships. At the age of 46, Nicklaus claimed his 18th and final major championship at the 1986 Masters Tournament, becoming the championship's oldest winner. Nicklaus joined the Senior PGA Tour (now known as the PGA Tour Champions) in January 1990, when he became eligible, and by April 1996 had won 10 of the tour's tournaments, including eight of that tour's major championships, despite playing a very limited schedule. He continued to play at least some of the four regular Tour majors until 2005, when he made his final appearances at the Masters Tournament and The Open Championship.

Nicklaus devotes much of his time to golf course design and operates one of the largest golf design practices in the world. In the mid-1960s, Pete Dye initially requested Nicklaus' opinion in the architecture process of The Golf Club in suburban Columbus, Ohio, and the input increased from that point forward. Nicklaus considered golf course design another facet of the game that kept him involved and offered a challenge. His first design Harbour Town Golf Links, co-credited with Dye, was opened for play in 1969. A subsequent early, yet more prominent design was Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, OH which opened in 1974 and has hosted the Memorial Tournament since its inception in 1976. This course has also hosted the 1987 Ryder Cup and the 1998 Solheim Cup matches. For the first few years, all of his projects were co-designs with either Pete Dye or Desmond Muirhead, who were two of the leading golf course architects of that era.

The Masters is quite possibly my favorite sporting event.

Have not been. Would like to go for a practice round but I enjoy it so much, I'd rather watch the actual event on TV. Going to golf tournaments can be cool, but golf is so much better in HD.

Gotta go with the hot hand. Dustin Johnson wins.
He can hit 3-wood on most holes and his wedges are the most underrated part of his game.

Unless Tiger is there.
