I know, but this overall series has been a net negative for his legacy IMO. For a player who is criminally underrated, it's unfortunate.

Only to simps

Jordan already said there is no MJ if there’s no Scotty. They just showed Pippen win 55 games without Mike. All people could talk about a couple weeks ago were how criminally underpaid he was his entire career. Most smart people will look at that, not a couple of split second bad decisions.

And fwiw he was hammered for it back then. If anything they glossed over it.

Also think Horace gave them more overall than Rodman.
I don't, Rodman was a freak like Jordan. Dude as you saw in one of those clips would go out all night clubbing and then had to be found by Jordan and co., and would still pull down 20 boards in the following game. Dude would run up and down a court like a machine, he also did things like getting under opposing players skins that you just can't teach.

He was an 18 ppg scorer the 2 years after Jordan retired but he was aging. I think he could have been very Dirk light especially if he had played during the same era. He was one of the first successful Euros in the NBA. He would thrive in today’s game.

Yeah, Kukoc is definitely one of the few from that era that could compete in today's game. I see the Dirk light comparison, especially in Dirk's earlier years when he had somewhat of wheels

I still hate that the NBA never got the real Sabonis or the best of Drazen or Schmidt ever for different reasons

It was always told that Jordan's son favorite player was BJ Armstrong.
It's just great for me to see that BJ Armstrong has aged, for the longest I thought the guy was just a high school kid lucky to be playing with Jordan and the Bulls.

Jordan and this series are more sacred than I thought. Jesus. The slightest criticism is blasphemy apparently.

Yeah Horace was a better offensive player but they didn’t need Rodman for that, they had Kukoc. Horace was a really good defender but he wasn’t going to lock down Shaq, Malone, or Kemp. Rodman was a 2 time defensive poy and made the 1st team all defense 7 times. Like Scotty said, he fit them like a glove.

didn’t Pippen say he would do the same thing again. Referring to the sitting out. That kills me. I go from loving Pippen and how athletic he was to thinking he’s a huge tool.

Huh? I didn’t say shite about Jordan...you said Scotty had a “net negative” from this series and I posted why he didn’t

You are emo AF if that offends you.

yeah, I'll concede the offensive edge to Horace, but that's it, Rodman was better at everything else. His offensive rebounding was genius to watch.

What more could they say about pippen? This isn't a rank the top bulls players on these teams documentary.

He had an MVP-level season in 1994 and the only thing they talked about was the Knicks ending.

loved the international and Portland versions of him.

Was surprised just now to see he only averaged 2.1 assists per game. I always remembered him as this great passer in Portland, just thought he put up more

I'm talking about the vibe in this entire thread.

GS 73-9 > Chicago's watered down 72-10

Scottie was an elite player and this Doc doesn't give him his due.

Facts.

would love to see a clip of Spike Lee getting knocked the frick out by a player coming down the court.

Spike in the Garden getting into it with Mike, Scottie or Reggie Miller was 90's basketball.

PMT is by far Barstool's greatest thing they have, so I'll definitely check that out. Poor Coach Duggs needs to rebound from his Baylor loss

The season he described as we did everything by committee. Yeah they should've had a full episode of a Jordan documentary to have people talk more about how pippen played defense and carried the ball up the court.

And Omg bj Armstrong has more interview vignettes than him too? It's almost like has a shitty personality and nothing to say. This needs to be more net positive for him. He made the NBA 50 greatest but I read on Twitter that he's underrated. He needs more "run" from this.
