If you witnessed these events in real time you’d know a lot of Pippens behavior has been avoided and or covered up in this Doc. He was always causing drama yet we’ve only seen one instance of it for about 3 minutes in the entire series. Compared to hours of negative Jordan narratives.

The fact that BJ Armstrong has gotten way way more run in this series than Scottie is also pretty crazy. Maybe Scottie just gave a bad interview and Armstrong is much more charasmatic, but that should have never been the case.

I mean the contract thing was extremely prominent in the series as it should have been. I would say they focused on more than one instance

Agree I think 92 and 93 are the best Bulls teams. Those front lines were big, quick and came in waves. The second version was built for specific playoff matchups.

Yes 92 was their best overall team. The 93 team was great also, but they were wearing down mentally as much as physically. 92 Scottie and Jordan are at their absolute peaks physically and they could do anything they wanted to at any time. Also think Horace gave them more overall than Rodman.

Still surprising to see a player so pivotal and elite be framed this way.

Bill Simmons always expressed combining the 1992 regular season and 1991 playoff Bulls would’ve been the greatest team of all-time and that’s true I think, the Bulls struggled in the 92 playoffs compared to 91, they were too good to get extended like they did

If Jordan's dad doesn't get killed to give a reason for the public to go with his retirement, how much does he get blasted for leaving at the age of 30?

I may be in the complete minority, but this series is borderline boring. There’s absolutley nothing about this series that’s new or ground breaking. In fact, one could make the argument it’s full of pettiness. We need sports back in the worst way.

But I don’t think the contract dispute was shown as a negative of Pippen. I think it showed that Reinsdorf and Krause covered for each other and mistreated him. I thought I made what people at the time believed to be selfishness on Pippens part understandable now.

FWIW he now believes its the 2016-2017 Warriors after writing in his book it was the 87 Celtics.

I keep laughing imagining today’s NBA players being teammates with MJ. He would mentally kill so many players.

I mean the Cavs almost needed to call counselors in because Beilein said “thugs”.

I think it’s good that everybody important is being shown in a 360 degree frame, good and bad. Phil and Kukoc seem to be overwhelmingly positive because that’s how they were while Jordan, Pippen, Rodman and Grant are shown having good and bad issues.

They would all be calling Lebron saying he is too mean to them and can they come to his safe space lol.

The disparity is glaring, but people are a product of the overall generation. A modern Jordan might be a different character too.

That makes no sense at all. Why do people watch replays of games or classic games? That's every 30 for 30 or documentary that they've done, so why watch those as well? It's still entertaining to get those involved's side on everything

Considering how terrible they were, many of those players probably get mentally destroyed by anyone who seriously cared about winning regardless of era.
