I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like what she just did. She qualified into this tournament ranked 170. And not only did she not drop a set; she was barely dropping games. Her scorelines look like peak Rafa at RG. Holy frickballs. I don't even know if there's context for this.

That's what Chris, Mary Joe, and Pam were saying the other day. She played some chick Sorribes Tormo, who is apparently solid, and beat her 0 and 1. Dismantled Rogers and beat up Sakkari, who was on fire. Crazy.

Was a very fun match. Great runs by both, and I hope they are both around and successful for many years.
Amazing that Radacanu came through freaking qualifying and did that. Ten matches, won twenty sets and dropped zero. And Fernandez came through a ton of great players to get her spot in the final.
Agree with the poster who said it will be cool if these two and Coco Gauff are battling it out for majors.

Novak was really tight the first few games, but has settled down now. Let's see if Med can finish off this set. If not, it's going to be one way traffic.

I disagree. Just because she’s not calling her nose an “in and out” doesn’t mean it doesn’t sound cockney to me. Sounds like she drops her h a good bit.
