The games aren't rigged, the refs and rules just suck

The game has gotten faster the players have gotten bigger, I think everyone understands that. But the reffing is so, so bad. I've found myself watching less and less football over the past 5 or so years as the refs have gotten more involved in what seems like every game.
It's completely bizarre on when they decide to call every ticky tacky touch or swallow the whistle.
I'm sure I'll watch the Super Bowl at a party, but 5 years ago there's no chance I wouldn't be locked in to the game. I can honestly say this year, I don't care at all about the outcome, and a lot of that is because I know the refs will end up being the story. Same goes for the regular season. Watch 58 minutes of a game only to see if the refs want to call a something they havent all day or swallow the whistle on an obvious foul.

I think the game has gotten too fast. The refs and replay are having a hard time keeping up.

How the frick does a multi-billion dollar league not have full time referees? I bet that would go a long way in fixing this shite.

The last flag of the game that decided it was an easy late hit call, it wouldve been made any year in the past few decades. Its a late hit. Not even really that close.

Yall may not want to hear this but reffing is hard. They get new rules every year, are expected to enforce those rules(which they don't make), and get blasted on slow mo for every mistake they make.

I agree, it's a late hit, and they called it. We all knew that game was going to come down to the last couple of drives in the 4th quarter and the refs had heavy influence with the other already much discussed calls in the back end of the quarter.

I don't disagree. The league has just as much culpability in this as the refs themselves
