I bet there was a time when people were like "I can't believe football players are now wearing those stupid fricking facemask. First, they take away the leather helmets now they are putting facemask on them. What are they doing".
Then it was "why are some of these players wearing face mask that are multiple bars? I can understand one that protects your jaw and mouth, but this shite with two bars and then some of them even have one coming down the middle. This is worse than the men coming to the games bringing their wives".

The fab 4 started the baggy shorts. I still remember how quick that changed. There were basketball teams that switched to baggy shorts in the middle of their season. I think Shaq's last year was the last year LSU wore the short shorts. Looking back at it, its funny seeing that dude in short shorts.

I wore cowboy hats every time I rode a bull. However if you don’t wear a flak jacket you’re more likely to get unalived from being gored or stomped. Having said that, I made my son wear a helmet when he rode bulls.
I always figured if I didn’t die from being mauled by a bull (when I was 17) there was NO mother fricker wearing a football suit ever going to hurt me. Now if I sneeze wrong it takes 3 days to recover.

36 years ago I was crazy enough to have done so. I did stick Roosevelt Potts a couple times. That was fun.
