Isiah is the best player out of the 3 groups. I'm going with that 79' class

I’d say when healthy Sampson was better. What year was Bowie?

Yea, I was just thinking 95 and 79 would be close but I’d give the edge to 95.

Both of those two smoke 07.

Interesting that the championship guys on the two former squads come from Boston, L.A., and Detroit who dominated the 80s/early 90s

And Ralph when healthy being key was the better player. I thought we were discussing that not who had better teammates and better pro career.

But it’s matter of details I guess

Would you say Sabonis is not a better player than Rik Smits?

'96 ain't bad
Bibby
Kobe
Richard Hamilton
Stephen Jackson
Jermaine O'Neal

I'm sure MJ's '81 team with Chris Mullins and Patrick Ewing would do just find regardless of who the other two are.

Kevin Garnett

Now this is a closer comparison. It is difficult to truly compare them sinced they played different posittions but Isiah and KG are two of the greatest of all-time at their positions

I was basing it off of who I think was the better player at the highest level. And of course Sabonis is better than Smits. I'll argue that Arydas had the better pro career (obviously referring to his European career) than Rik.

Arvydas is probably the most skilled Center to ever play. It’s a shame he couldn’t come before injuries and age. He vs Olajuwon in the 80’s and he vs Ewing would have been great to watch. Probably must see television

Ralph Sampson allowed to roam the perimeter in the modern game would have been amazing. He was always forced back inside by his coaches and wasn't allowed to play the perimeter, where his body eventually betrayed him from the relentless physicality. He was so far ahead of his time, and there's no telling how his career goes if he plays under modern rules. I would love to see Garnett v. Sampson at their peak in the best environment for their skills. We were robbed of Sampson.

Also, 'Nique. Gimme '79.

Umm yeah he probably is. Go watch some of his stuff from his younger years. He’s a magician could pass shoot and dribble. His NBA days were nothing compared to what he was doing in the 80’s.

Go watch “The Other Dream Team”

The Hawks drafted him 85 and if he comes over then you’d be putting on him in Shaq type praise.

I’ve seen him.

You would have a hard time finding one skill that you could list hi as the best at.

Aren’t you full of crow?
