23 hits in the past 2 games. 4 runs.

uh no, frick Jurrjens. i started him in two of my fantasy leagues.
should have taken my own advice a couple of weeks ago and benched my ATL pitchers when they're up against the Nats.

3 of them via solo homers. So on the other 20 hits, we got a grand total of 1 run.

That's terrible. On a positive note, it can only get better?

I thought you were in Europe?

Our timing on hits has been a shitfest.

Yeah...I have no idea how we have had such a hard time scoring runs lately with 2 guys who are very much in the discussion for NL POTM in the middle of our order. Seems like no one is ever in scoring position whenever Freddie or Uggla is at the plate though.

And if someone is in position, they don't get a hit until their next at bat. Just gotta hope the bats keep going and the timing starts coming around.
Thoughts on the pitcher batting 8th? Keep it when Costanza's in?

Constanza seems like a guy who is going to put the ball in play most of the time, and has the chance to beat out a lot of slow ground balls and bunts. In that regard, I'd rather have him bat 8th than 9th. Leaving Gonzo with the task of clearing the pitcher isn't a very good idea.

Not Mac, Not Chip. We still have Proctor on the roster.

Can't come soon enough.
Is AGon the worst everyday regular in baseball? I'm beginning to think so.
