Now that we have the trade deadline behind us, we can move on and get back to focusing strictly on the games. We took 2 out of 3 against the Fish and only allowed 4 runs in the process. Kind of a disappointment seeing as we had 13 hits in the loss yesterday with only 1 run to show for it. Very unacceptable and hopefully we can start finding a few clutch hits as we move forward. It was nice to see the pitching get back to where it had been after a few rough series from the hill.

Pitching Matchups(times are CT):

Tonight(6:05) - Jurrjens(2.38 ERA) vs Hernandez(4.19 ERA)
Tomorrow(6:05) - Lowe(4.52 ERA) vs Lannan(3.63 ERA)
Wednesday(12:05) - Beachy(3.27 ERA) vs Wang(lulz)

I'll update with the lineup once it's posted.

Let's do this shite

And welcome, Michael

I am really looking forward to watching Bourn's first game tonight. Looking at the pitching matchups, we should win all 3. I could see the Phils dropping 1 or 2 in Colorado so a sweep would be huge.

Peter Moylan's return from back surgery took another step Sunday when the reliever threw 15 pitches off the mound. It was just what I expected, said Moylan, who estimated he threw at about 60 percent. I didnt let anything go but it was nice to get out there on the mound again. Moylan is scheduled for another throwing session on Tuesday. - AJC

We should win all 3 every time we play the Nats, but it never happens.

I hate an uncanny amount of Washington's pitchers: Livan, Lannan, Clippard and Burnett off the top of my head.

This thread will explode if Bourn legs out an infield single his first at bat.

Uggla needs to stay in the clean up spot. He hits much better there than 5th. Freeman can handle hitting 3rd

Fredi is in heaven with the possibility of all the speed and bunts with Bourn and Constanza at the top. He'll try it out right away imo.

it's like when people spell Tuberville "Tubberville"...even Auburn fans do it and it pisses me off

I went to rotoinfo lineups to see if they had the lineup up yet...it says Braves so I got excited and then it said "Johnson RF, Castro SS, Baker 3B, Soto C, Byrd CF, Soriano LF, Pena 1B, Barney 2B, Zambrano P "
