Nats always play he Braves so well.

I haven't been watching Braves games of late. But, early this year JJ kept pounding the ball down in the zone, creating Ks or ground outs..is he elevating the ball or losing command of late?
Hanging elevated mediocre velocity balls in the zone, is where Cliff Lee gets tagged for homers.

The Nats have been dominating us since they were the expos. This is just getting ridiculous.

Livan brings flashes of his glory days whenever he tosses vs Atl.
And you boys thought Ankiel lacked punch.

It started right before the break and even his performance in the AS game, he'd throw a pitch and it'd get smoked... right at someone.
I've held my ground on JJ the whole time, he's an above average pitcher, but he's not a world beater. 3 at best, probably better served as a 4, even.
To me the future of this rotation is Hanson/Beachy, who might already be our two best pitchers.

I don't think anyone has ever accused Ankiel of lacking power. He just doesn't make enough contact to take advantage of it.

And guess who you get tomorrow, LANNAN! The Braves killer.

Atlanta is gonna be an absolute monster in a few short years.

This umpire has a strike zone that's about a foot wider than the plate.

You mean like the old Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Avery, Neagle zone?

Thanks for the clarification.
Hey guys remember that time Proctor pitched three scoreless innings, got a win, and drove in the walk-off run?
