Reds bullpen isn't awful.

Our closer is probably our worst guy. And we don't have Durbin.

What on earth else would I judge him on? He's not going to suddenly get a better arm and get better range. And there is alot more to hitting than batting average, he has mediocre power and a poor walk rate. Those can definitely improve, but he didn't have power in the minors either.

As I said discussing him in a game thread with Swamp a couple days back, I'd really like to see us keep Pastornicky as a utility 2B/SS off the bench, I think he'd be perfect in that role. He's just not a major league quality defensive SS.
