I wanna see uggla or heyward square up on a chapman fastball tonight and see how far it flies.

Come on Tyler, make up for the error.

Nice at bat. Way to work him

Delgado has thrown 72 pitches through 4 innings. 44 for strikes. Baileys line is eerily similar. 73 pitches, 44 strikes.

How well did you guys expect pastornicky to do? He's doing well IMO, all things considered.
As RobotSanta said, I expected at least league average defense from him. He's hitting pretty much like I expected, slightly below average. But he's been one of the worst couple SS in baseball. His arm is bad, he takes horrible moves towards the ball when it's hit, and he has terrible range. He's by far the worst Braves SS I've seen since I started watching Braves baseball back in 83 or so. He's Rafael Ramirez bad.
But at this point we should just wait till we aren't blowing one of Simmons arb years, and then call him up and cut Wilson.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration

Which part? None of it is exaggeration. He's statistically the worst defensive SS in baseball.
LINK
I really don't care about the UZR and UZR/150 even though he sucks in those as well, but his defensive runs saved stat is freaking horrible, and that defensive stat is pretty accurate. He'll be at -12 runs saved after that error tonight in about 230 innings. By comparison, AGon was +9 runs saved in 1300+ innings last year.
Nice Job Bourn.

Whew, aggressive play payed off, nice.

Also on a side note to how bad Tyler has been at SS this year, last year the worst SS in baseball was Jeter at -15 DRS, and that was in about 1050 innings. Tyler is on pace to blow that away.

He's our MVP.
For sure, I'm gonna be a sad panda if we can't resign him. He's been a stud so far, ace hitting, defense, and speed.
