Gausman, Gohara, Wright to Indians for Kluber

Doubt that would be enough. They are said to be looking for more than White Sox got for Sale.

I'm glad. The talking heads said Counsell would win.

I think Gomes is a sneaky candidate to be our other catcher. Realmuto seems like more and more of a longshot and don't think they want to give up the pick for Grandal.

Bowman believes Ramos and Brantley are the two targets in free agency right now. It sounds like the Marlins aren’t moving Realmuto within the division and they have been asking for ridiculous deals for him. The price tag for Realmuto will drop but the Braves can’t afford to wait that long to find out if the Marlins would move him in the division. I don’t think any of the top prospects get moved this offseason.

I think we make a big move at some point this winter. I would be shocked if we don't make a deal packaging a handful of prospects for a big league piece.

I think Kluber is in play, but I'm not sure how much I'd be willing to give up for him. He has not been the same pitcher since he got rocked in Game 7 against the Cubs in 2016.

Kurt did exactly what we needed him to do and then some. Time for an upgrade at C though

He's already walked that tweet back which contradicted his previous tweets that the Braves essentially had no money.

Pretty clear that the beat guys are almost totally in the dark. What roster moves have they broken since AA got here? None or close to none that I know of.

the funny part is that the various beat guys all end up reporting contradictory information. DOB reports one thing about budget, Bowman reports another, and the new guy at the AJC just seems happy to be there. AA straight up is simply not going to divulge anything worth hearing until after something is done, and it's amusing to me to watch guys like DOB fall over themselves to be the first to report "insider info" only to be completely wrong.

We got Kurt at his prime and let him walk when we needed to. He’ll likely regress at age 35 and 36 seasons

I’d be pretty disappointed if our biggest offseason targets were Ramos and Brantley

And DOB has already walked back the Bryce tweet.

20 years spent covering the team and this is what we get?
