Doumit is a solid bench bat who can "play" outfield and catcher. He's pretty solid against righties. Gilmartin has close to no value. This is more the Twins dumping Doumit's salary than acquiring Gilmartin

Second move in a row I'll be in the minority on. 
I like Doumit. He stunk last year, but he's usually a pretty good hitter. Only makes 3.5 mil, and provides depth at C and OF.
