I doubt Pitt or Baltimore. Whoever goes after him knows they probably are going to have him for 2 more years. It's going to be a team that has a legit chance to win in the next couple of years.
Just off the top of my head, the Blue Jays make a lot of sense.

Blue Jays do make sense, but who is desirable there? Travis Snider? I suppose that will work with them giving Edwin Encarnacion work in LF this offseason...

That's the thing. There's not really anyone there that could come in and make an impact or be an upgrade this upcoming year.
You'd have to go for someone a bit younger, someone like a Jake Marisnick.
Obviously, Prado would have to be kept and we would have to find a replacement in LF for 2013 but with the money we have opening up, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Getting a major league ready player is ideal though, which is why the Blue Jays probably aren't the best match.

He's really intriguing, but it'd probably take more than JJ to get him since he has so much raw potential.

You're right about that. The guy I really want is Yonder Alonso but I don't see us pulling that off...

Here's a recap of an interview Frank Wren did with Jim Bowden today:

Atlanta is looking for a shortstop, but it won't be free agents Jimmy Rollins or Jose Reyes.

After shortstop, the club is looking for a right-handed hitting corner outfield bat.

Wonder by how much?

Doubt by very much, and I'm not even sure where the money is going to go if all we need is a one year SS and outfielder.
I guess we plan on taking on some money in a trade? IDK

I'm going to choose to believe its more money than we think.
And yes, it's blind optimism.

As of today, our projected salary for next year is around 89M with our payroll last year at 92.
It really is going to be interesting to see what we do with Prado and Jurrjens(combined 10M or so) this offseason and what we get in return for them.

That's too broad. What deal are you making if you're GM?
