Can someone provide an explanation on what Fredi did to try and lose this game?
And it would be nice if this could be done after each game. Makes it easier for me to blame him for everything.
Thanks guys. You rock!!

What was he thinking hitting Freeman in the 3 hole and bringing in Kimbrel for the close

Clearly, it's because he didn't bunt Freeman in the 9th. Come on Dale.

I don't know what it was yesterday because I was at the family's for the 2nd half. Today? Heyward never bunts. Consistently grounds out to 2nd. Schafer leads off with a double. Fredi makes Heyward square around like a pitcher. Fail happens.

Fredi Gonzalez said he left the decision to bunt in the 9th up to Jason Heyward and he opted to go for sacrifice. #Braves

You people have been on point. I want to get in on the action and I had the thread typed out today and Friday before refreshing to see it was already posted.

I'll get my streak in at some point.

Absolutely nothing wrong with having Heyward lay down a bunt. You are a major league fricking hitter. You should be able to put a bunt down, at a higher rate than you would making contact on the ground to the pull side.

you have a better chance of winning the game swinging away, though

And a better chance, as a guy paid to hit, to bunt my not showing your hand. He squared around like his overbearing mother told him to bunt.

Maybe, I'll let you do the math. I like my chances getting the runner in from 3rd with less than 2 outs more than I do a runner in from 2nd with none.

too bad he chose to bunt. A team's 2nd best hitter doesn't usually do that.
