Exciting game. Hated the result, but a good game.

THIS game is what PLAYOFF baseball SHOULD be all about.

It was an exciting game. Atlanta wanted it more and came up with the clutch plays. I don't know why the Dodgers didn't pitch to Constanza in the 7th.

ETA: Heywood made them pay.

Damn what a game. Most intense 9 innings I've seen in a long time.
Simmons blocked the bag with his knee. Out for sure.

Can't tell if Simmons grazed Gordon's arse here or not.

I'm really glad no one ended up getting a hit, because that call is all we would hear about until/unless the Braves got eliminated. And during that time, not a single talking head would point out that Simmons made an extremely clever play by preventing Gordon's hand from ever reaching the bag.

First off...I'm drunk. Secondly, I'd like to take full credit for this win because I did not post in the game thread last night, but did tonight. Third, I started pacing around the time Heyward came up to bat and gave us the lead...I stopped pacing when Carpenter gave up the 2 run homer and started pacing again after.

I will no longer sit on the couch to watch the Braves play and will continue to post in the game threads. That is all.

It didn't matter. Kershaw was winning regardless..
Braves absolutely have to win this 3rd game in LA!

What was there to defend? He had a bad game, he's an emotional dude and I think it got to him. Gattis and EJ didnt hep him much. Anyways, hopefully he'll get a chance to redeem himself. I wasn't expecting to win game 1 anyways

oh, and 44-41. suck that bulldog dick, bitch.

Only shot we had to beat Kershaw was Medlen tossing a shutout, but it is concerning that he has been pretty awful in both of his playoff starts on the heels of extremely strong finishes.

Minor rose to the occasion tonight though. He was awesome. Hopefully Julio brings his A game in L.A.

It's no coincidence that both games had the wheels come off after a costly error/misplay. Chipper's last year on a fairly routine DP and Gattis last night.
