It's kind of odd. B-Mac must be tired or something.

It makes sense for this game because today is a quick turnaround after last night's game, but I don't understand why Snit didn't manage it with McCann starting the 1st and 3rd game of the series instead of just the 2nd.

Probably because of the lefty Corbin starting in game 1. they've only given him 27 plate appeareances against LHP this year, so they must think that we are better off with Flowers against lefties.

@BravesMILB With his nine strikeouts last night Ian Anderson has recorded seven 9+ strikeout games over the past 12 starts. His 147 strikeouts leads all of minor league baseball, and he leads the southern league in strikeouts, K rate, and FIP despite being the league’s youngest starter

@BravesMILB Anderson is in fact the youngest pitcher in any Double-A league, and leads all of their leagues in strikeouts and strikeout rate, and has the third lowest batting average against and third best K rate to BB Rate

Starting to feel like its gonna be...but I hope I am wrong. AA should get a kick to the shin by everyone who has spent money on this team this year if it is the only trade.

Anderson should be off the market unless it can get us Syndegaard or the something similar, same goes for Pache.

Everyone else should be available for a win now move.

I don’t really feel like we should look at it that way. Nobody is dealing anything right now. A lot of teams need bullpen help and nobody is willing to let go their assets. If the Nationals don’t make a move that could seal their fate. They need bullpen help more than we do. We at least added a no walks guy.

Either way, I think we move Gausman and Wilson (if he isn’t moved today) to the pen to see what they can offer in a low pitch/max effort situation. Move Folty back into the rotation if a starter isn’t added and hope he’s at least league average.

Even after getting Chris Martin last night, #Braves continue to try to upgrade staff — relief or starter.

Exactly. It was puzzling that he didn't catch for Keuchel

Flowers has caught Keuchel's last two starts which is inexcusable considering McCann's history with Keuchel.

Yep. He was dominant against KC until the 7th though. I think Snit was hoping to replicate that. Bring back Javy
