I imagine Mets sit a lot of starters at least. If we do win, it might be a blessing that Sale had back spasms. Maybe he'd be good to go game 2 of Wild Card series with Fried starting tomorrow.
Back spasms are day to day unless he strained something.

If it’s not an IL situation, it’s probably for the best. Maybe you could go Fried-Sale in the Wild Card if you could somehow pull this out. Wouldn’t have much chance against SD if you had to pitch Sale today anyway
