I absolutely can’t believe they pitched to Freddie.

Literally one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen in a baseball game.

Reds had to use all of their best arms today and have to use everything they have again tomorrow. If Anderson is on tomorrow I like our chances. Worst case scenario we have Wright in game three with a few arms getting tomorrow off if we’re down late.

I mean, Bauer was an absolute stud today.

Still no excuse for the best offense in baseball to go 12 innings without even remotely threatening to score.

Winning the Bauer start is absolutely huge for the Braves though. Need Anderson to be sharp tomorrow.

pitching to freddie is fireable

guaranteed explanation: "he's not good against lefties and a walk or hbp then loses the game" (maybe sprinkle in an "ozuna is dangerous as well")

SO frickING WHAT HES THE BEST PLAYER IN THE frickING LEAGUE

I don’t see how this makes you feel better when you had the best pitcher in the NL starting today and still lost.

only rationalization is that the braves drop off is a lot bigger than the reds from today to the next 2 days.

because surely we can't go 1-12 with RISP every game

We have the best offense in baseball and didn't score for 12 innings. It is the Braves in the playoffs, so you never know, but counting on that to happen again is bold.

We also went 1/10 with RISP.
