Ender is totally useless. Extension which looked very good at the time isn’t too good now.

Imagine having a solid defender with a good bat available but on the bench while Ender sucks arse....more so imagine having a prospect who is just as good and probably better at defense with a more dynamic bat not getting the call up because of Ender

Ender's only value right now is that he doesn't make Acuna an everyday CF in a season where it would be pointless to start Pache's service time.
Ender's got the rest of this season and the early part of next season before he gets relegated to a pinch-runner before a trade.

He had real trade value at one point. Now he's either going to be a throw in as part of a bigger deal or may end up being outright DFA'd.

The way Duvall has been playing Ender won’t be hitting much anyway.
When Adams is at DH:
LF- Ozuna
CF- Acuña/Ender
RF- Duvall/Markakis/Acuña
When Ozuna is at DH:
LF- Duvall
CF- Acuña/ Ender
RF- Markakis/Acuña
I see him starting 30% of the games when Ozuna is at DH and 10% of the games that Adams is at DH.

CF- Acuña/Ender
RF- Duvall/Markakis/Acuña

Duvall has earned the right to be in the lineup at least 75% of the time.
That means if Adams is at DH, you have to pick between Ender, Duvall, and Markakis for the 3rd OF.
If Ozuna is at DH, one of Duvall, Ender, and Markakis will be left out. I’m betting that it will be Ender 75% of the time.

I think we have to this season. He hasn’t looked incredible, but he hasn’t looked bad either. We can’t trot Ender out every other game when Duvall and Kakes have looked way better.

Let me ask you this, do you think the defensive quality that Ender provides is so much better than Acuña that it justifies putting Duvall and Markakis on the bench in 50% of the games?
