Ridiculous that outside of like Freddie, Gattis, and Mac we don't have anyone that can hit worth a damn with RISP.

But I guess we can look on the bright side, we now have BJ in the middle of the lineup to hit in a key spot.

Too many dead pull hitters on this roster. Uggla had absolutely no thoughts of trying to go the other way after he got a 2 strike count. He has the same close your eyes, swing hard, and hope approach no matter the situation.

Please tell me he put him in for Mac instead of Gattis. I wasn't paying attention. Because Gattis is due up 3rd in the bottom of the 9th if no one gets a hit in the 8th.

Nope, put him in for Gattis when he was on first base for whatever reason.

We didn't even double switch, just put BJ in for Gattis essentially for defense. Pitcher spot still due up first and we'll have to blow another bench player. fricking Fredi

ETA: missed him pinch running. But still, I hate Fredi

Some good analysis of Strasburg and BJ on Baseball Tonight

Less is more Uggla, quit dancing in the box

fricking brilliant. It's not like Gattis is one of the most clutch hitters on the team or anything.

Your fricking losing by a run, lets sub for defense and take out one of our most clutch hitters. I hope he makes a sweet diving catch and K's to end the game

BJ was pinch running. Represented the go ahead run at 2nd when Uggla/CJ whiffed.

And he was one 1B when he pinch ran. If he was the tying or winning run on 2B I would have understood, but pinch running him at 1B during that situation was just weird. Maybe BJ can shock us all and be a hero.
