I thought Minor would be leading in WAR. Regardless it's two months into the season

Minor is third on Fangraphs WAR, though I'm sure his WAR is a little better on Bref.

Justin is second, Gattis just passed him last night I think.

Not sure why it eats you up so bad that Gattis is getting regular playing time.

This ump is inconsistent, Adam should have been rung up there.

Well, this game is about to be over if Julio gives up a hit here.

Worst defensive 3rd baseman in baseball by a wide margin.

Will be interesting to see the 3rd base trade market.

Yep. Nice job pitching out of the jam there.

He's pitched well. Only had a couple hard hit balls all night and has given up three runs. Must be a little frustrating.

It sure is a good thing all of those awesome advanced stats indicate that Heyward is going to start being a productive bat any day now.

To be fair to the guys who were talking about his BABIP issues, he really was tagging the ball and being unlucky early on. Lately he is just sucking and being the same old Jason striking out and pulling everything on the ground.

J-UP will jack one this inning.

It's just a matter if pena can get on to be a 2 run or 1 run bomb

Pretty much. Even if you switched his poor luck for good luck he'd still be in the low .200s most likely. I convinced myself that his 2nd season was just an aberration caused by injuries and him being slow to adjust to the league's adjustments on how to pitch him, but it just seems like this is the hitter he is. When he tanks, he tanks for months or even an entire season.

Yep, pretty much the same for me. I would be scared to ever extend him long term because of it.
