It sure would be nice if Fredi would stop letting Gearrin pitch to lefties. He's the guy you bring in to pitch to David Wright. Not the guy you leave in to pitch to a bunch of lefties.

Yeah that pitch to Ike had good break to it and it would've painted the corner. Just a rare piece of good hitting from Davis.

Bullpen is beyond horrible. We are counting on a ROOGY and a LOOGY to get us 6 outs a night on top of going with only 6 guys, including two who are very questionable as major league relievers.

Clearly he totally sucked this year before tonight with his ERA below 1.50.
But yeah, calling up Wood sounds like a good thing to check out anyway, he pitches well to righties and lefties, has a good K rate and is a groundball pitcher, could make an excellent setup guy this year.
