Then Phillies have white Sox, blue jays , brewers. If they make a move, they’ll have to earn it.

Phillies bats are getting to Skenes… they are going to be a problem

As long as the Braves keep going 6-4 or 7-3 every 10 games, it's gonna be tough for Phils to put a dent in that lead.
Just keep taking care of our own business....

Not so worried about that as I am meeting them in the postseason with a healthy Wheeler.

Good, Azocar did a DECENT job……but I don’t trust him any longer than this. He looks clumsy like a baby giraffe

That would be challenging, but one thing the Braves have done is be pretty consistent at putting up solid veteran at bats from the likes of Dom Smith, Yaz, etc. We don't have a lot of holes as far as young guys who get blown away by a veteran pitcher. They might make an out, but they will also make Wheeler (or whoever) work to get outs.

The irony here is the only two games we won against them in 2022 and 2023 were both Wheeler starts.

Wheeler and Sanchez at the top of the rotation would be hell on earth, but if Schwellenbach somehow is able to come back and look like himself again (FWIW, I'm not counting on that this season), I'd take our potential playoff rotation over theirs.

Long way down the road, though. A lot of things can and will change between now and October.

I'm not either considering he still hasn't begun throwing yet.
