you realize CJ lead the NL in BA until the last couple weeks of the season last year, correct?

I would call Simmons a pretty average hitter right now but he has decent power and makes consistent contact. I definitely think CJ is above average even if you account for his high BABIP.

Despite the fact that ATL is by far the leader in pitcher injuries since he began his tenure? Although that could be more of a system thing than a McDowell thing.

I think we need to be careful about trying to jinx Garza. I don't know how a reverse jinx works in some situations.
