Terry McGuirk needs to be taken up in a helicopter over SunTrust Park and kicked out the door.

So in hindsight I think maybe we should have spent some money on a veteran pitcher. Oh well, no way the Braves management team could have predicted this

Snitker is pathetic. You've had two players get into it with the umpire and your team is getting it's arse kicked. Go out there and get ejected.

It's about time for your bitch arse to start a season long Gonzaga thread isn't it? I remember your creepy arse doing that when the Zags won a game in the tourney. And now you're trolling a braves thread. Phag

I patiently watched the Phillies Management sit out FA markets and wisely, due to not being in position and not having enough everyday nor pitching staff to contend..thus the Comcast deal dough sat shelved for a bit..

But, the Braves do march out a solid young everyday lineup, and also with Folty,etc..young staff. So my question of you Bravos, what moves in your eyes of the recent FA market by Anthopoulos and Co that were slept on? Obviously by your posts the Bullpen seems egregiously neglected.

Bullpen and corner outfield, to start with. This team should have never had an opening day lineup with Nick Markakis in it.

FA and farm system aren't the only ways to manipulate a roster.

Keeping that horde of young rookie arms sho' is paying off though.

Realmuto.

Phillies got him for $5mil, their top prospect, a terrible catcher, and a single-A pitcher.

The bullpen was atrocious and wasn't addressed.

I'm not a fan of the Markakis and McCann signings.

Not huge on Donaldson either, I thought Camargonwas fine.

If I was Anthopolous I'm focused on weeding out the pitching prospects and trading the crappy ones for some bench players or bolstering the bullpen.

The Phillies system has flopped so hard so long with starting pitching, That I had no problem whatsoever seeing Sixto go for an MLB proven Realmuto, even if he comes up Aces in the long haul.

I feel your pain.

The Braves huge spike in revenue was because the Braves got off to hot start and stayed in the playoff hunt all last year. The fans aren’t happy with the front office and when this team is 5 games back of first place in 3 weeks the fans will stop going to games. Whoever decided to pocket last years revenue and not use it to upgrade the team should be fired. From a business standpoint they lost money not spending it. One of the few positions we didn’t need to upgrade we signed someone to a 20 million dollar contract and that’s all we did this offseason.

That’s the face of a man that knows he has financial flexibility. Just exploring deals and waiting to find the right one to come along.
