They are the employees you hire who will do what’s asked of them but nothing more, naut happy to be there and getting paid. Not going to improve the company, processes, etc. punch in at 9, punch out at 5. Don’t care if they ever get promoted.

The layoff is a huge problem. What is the record for teams with the byes? Like 7-22 if you take the Astros out of it.
And you have 3 100+ win teams getting put out in the divisional round. There’s absolutely something to not playing baseball for a week while the other teams are getting into a playoff mode/groove
And I know that’s the counterpoint. Well what about the Astros? The layoff doesn’t affect them. Well the twins are the absolute worse team in the entire playoffs. Other than the blue jays who are fatally flawed
