The Padres have three with the Dodgers. If the Padres are really, hot, they may sweep. That could put the Braves back in the hunt for a bye. Regardless, I think we got good answers from the bullpen. Dodd with a save, AJSS with a couple of big performances. Suarez seems to be a real playoff possibility. I guess we’ll know if he’s recalled tomorrow.

Thankfully since they clinched, Braves can now play the backup starting pitchers, oh wait, that's the same guys

Are you under the impression that MLB teams carry “backup starting pitchers”?
JR Ritchie will start tomorrow, but may not be on the playoff roster.

Definitely won't be on the Wild Card roster and probably not the DS roster either, but could definitely see him making the CS roster if we make it that far.

Clinching yesterday was perfect timing so they don't have to roll out a hangover lineup to lose 9-0 tonight 
Thinking we'll see some lineups that look like Bobby Cox Sunday Specials this week, but I also want to see Acuna in particular continue to play every day so his bat doesn't cool down.

We're not catching LA, so these games are pointless from a record standpoint, get Kim and Murphy as many ABs as you can to see if they can find something.
And also get the OFers off their feat aka Brewer Hicklen finna eat.

Matt would work as DH and give Dom a start at 1B vs a RH pitcher.

They wanted to get anything for him while they could, because they knew they weren’t re-signing him this offseason.
It does beg the question if Nick Allen is “anything” though

JR will start. Owen can and likely will start. A roster move needs to happen to get Suarez back up. Who would you send down to get your “backup starting pitcher” on the roster?
