Just got back from Hemingway. Picked up some Scott's BBQ for the weekend sports festivities.

Not as Iggy as it could’ve been, but some anxiety for sure. Lol.

I'm about half an hour from there. Barely in Horry County. Got me some cracklins and a Red Rock soda for the ride home.

My mom is from Turbeville so we go to Schoolhouse or Brown's quite a bit. Been to Country Cousins in Olanta too after leaving Floyd's Funeral home a few years back.

At this point is Hartman a better option than Lane Thomas? Part of this is jest but part of it is serious lol.

Hartman would be a nice option as a pinch runner. With the potential of a lockout next season, I believe there’s some rules that would make it better for Hartman to remain in the minors. The minor leagues will play next spring. I could be wrong on this.

You are correct. Nobody will get added to the 40 man that doesn't have to be because of that.

Well Hartman has been atrocious since his promotion to AA. They could try Patrick Clohisy, who's torn up Triple-A, and is every bit as much if not more of a stolen base threat (59 steals between Double and Triple-A this year) than Hartman. Not much power, but the other options we have just flat out aren't hitting.

I doubt he gets any real chance to start games, but he could be a post season pinch running option, at least.
